I work all year.
I'm single.
I want to go away for a few days.
I'm tired.

I trawl through the adverts and find a 3 night stay in Marrakech.
I read "prices from £149"
"Great!"
I insert the date, the airport, the hotel and THEN put in 1 person and single room.
The price rockets to £600!

Why? It is so unfair.
I'm just single. I 'm not some alien from outer space.
I need a holiday just like anyone else.
What do I do?
Import some boring friend or some loser boyfriend in order to get a cheap holiday?

Last year I went to Benidorm....In a single room! When I arrived the L shaped room had a tiny window above my head about a foot square. I had to stand on the bed to open it and then I couldn't see anything as the window was too high. And, come on I'm not a midget! I am 5'6" so quite tall.

The bathroom was the width of the door and so the shower was the width of the door.

I felt so depressed. I was tired and stressed and now I have to spend my time in a cell.
I complained at the reception desk and was told that "all single rooms are the same in Benidorm."

Come on Tour Operators! Adopt the American way of having huge beds in every room whether you are alone or with another person.

The other gripe is the price! Why should I pay more for less? I pay more than Mr and Mrs Blogger in the next room and they have more space.
